* The signage pointing to rideshare (Uber/Lyft) pickup was terrible. That meant I didn't get an upgrade and also had to spend time going to the front desk when I checked out to get my resort fee waived. Exhausted, I ended up checking in a kiosk, which was fine, but there was no opportunity to enter my Caesars Diamond number. Not only was there no dedicated VIP check-in, but the line was extremely long. There was a sign at that check-in that said there would be a dedicated area for VIP check-in at the main check-in. * I arrived late - which isn't abnormal for Vegas hotels - and the dedicated room for VIP status holders was closed. My room was huge, which was great, but it was very run down.
Beyond that: * As others have said, this hotel is way overdue for room renovations. She was tremendously helpful and one of the only people I met during my stay who was truly service-oriented. I always take price point into account when I write a review I don't expect 5-star accommodations when I paid $45 for the room, you know? But I will start with a positive: Jenny, who was working in the cage on April 20, was so wonderful.
